Written and directed by Nora Ephron, Julie and Julia Amy Adam's character, Julie Powell, as she tries recreate recipes from the famous chef, Julia Child, played by Meryl Streep. Based on real life stories, the film switches between timelines as it cooks two separate, contrasting stories from Julia Child's early culinary years and Julie's journey as she herself documents her own trials recreating the recipes. The film also stars Stanley Tucci and Chris Messina. With a great story and delicious recipes, it is sure to satisfy everyone's appetite.

About the Host:
Danny Epperson is host of Cinema 15 on WHRO-TV 15. Danny is also WHRO’s Senior Broadcast Producer, behind various programs including the Curate TV series, the online arts series Curate 757, and lead producer with WHRO's Batten Environmental Education Initiative. Danny is a Hampton Roads native and a graduate of Christopher Newport University. He’s a three-time Emmy Award winner, who began his broadcast career at WTKR-TV, in Norfolk, as a news producer. Before joining WHRO Public Media, Danny produced news, specials, celebrity interviews and movie reviews at WAVY-TV in Portsmouth. A movie buff, Danny is very pleased to bring you behind-the-scene stories about the wonderful, commercial-free classic films on WHRO's Cinema 15.
